In this last phase of Kali Yuga, it is essential for Sat Yogis to realize the Truth now. But the ego-mind obscures the truth of what we are with the projections and defenses that arise from a lifetime of suffering. We must first realize our suffering is phenomenal, so we can overcome our traumas and stop the mind that suffers--and then the True Self takes over and the Truth of Reality is realized.
