Joe has a Ph.D. in Sport Psychology and works with performers and athletes of many ages, sports, and careers. Joe has a practice of meditation that he offers to all of his clients. Dr. Cohn and Dr. Havlick discuss how the qualities of being a great human being apply to helping athletes and performers.

Mindfulness is the process of having a moment-by-moment awareness of your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment. When using mindfulness, you are able to notice when your lose focus and be able to refocus on the present moment and not allow distractions from the past or future control your thinking.
