The kingdom of heaven is like the wedding banquet and the lamps of the bridesmaids. All are invited to the banquet initially, but our preparation determines whether we get into the banquet toward the end of the evening. Now is the time to make sure we have enough oil for our lamps to last until the final hour. The foolish will find that the doors to the kingdom of heaven are closed to them.
