Wait, Before You Podcast……Know This.

If you are starting a podcast there are a few things you show know. In todays episode we speak with Jeff Perry from Podcastingspark.com. Jeff shares all the essential things that new and beginning podcasters should know to prevent themselves from podfading.

Podcasting is one of the greatest avenues in sharing your ideas and opinions. It is fun and it also provides podcasters much joy and please. While this may be true there are podcasters who start podcasting and do not make it to their tenth episode. There are a number of reasons for this.

Choice of Topic
The failure of choosing the right topic can result in a loss of interest. Be sure that you choose the right topic as this will be your area of expertise. If you choose a topic that you did not strategically analyze and carefully consider you will find yourself struggling to create content for your listeners. For ,or information about choosing the right topic visit Episode # 002 which will give you a clear and confident process for deciding on a podcast topic.

Discouragement
One reason is that new podcasters become discouraged when they don’t have a lot of subscribers in their first two to three weeks of their podcast launch. No one should expect high numbers in subscriptions unless you had a following prior to starting your blog.

Roadblocks
As a podcaster you can bet that somewhere down the line you will have roadblocks from uploading a podcast, recording a podcast etc. Everything will not go smooth for you all the time so new podcasters should not give up when a recording goes wrong or sounds bad.

Fear of No One Will Listen
If you obtain the content your listeners want to hear you will not have a problem with your audience not wanting to listen. Remember your content should be based on the pain-points of your listeners. They will tell you what they need help with and you provide content around their feedback.
