Power Play Podcast presented by National Coney Island and also brought to you by Northwestern Technological Institute, Jonathon Kidd and Sean Bali are joined by Novi High School hockey coach Mark Vellucci to talk about this year's edition of the Novi hockey team, as well as the possibility of the MHSAA tournament changing formats next season with a seeding system. Also on this week's show, Jon and Sean recap the Public Hockey Showcase in Chelsea and also break down Sean's latest rankings, which have Hartland High School moving up to No. 3 this week, while Houghton High School, Kingsford High School and Marquette Senior High School are also discussed during this week's rankings segment! Sean was on hand for Detroit Catholic Central High School's win over Stevenson High School on Saturday and made a bold prediction about the Shamrocks heading into the tournament! Jon, Sean and Mark wrap up the show by talking about the quality of hockey being playing at the high school ranks over the course of the past decade and discuss where the sport is headed going forward!
