The Senate Education Committee furthers a bill that makes homeschool students eligible for the South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship with the same requirements as other students. A bill that raises Medicaid reimbursement rates goes to the Appropriations committee without a recommendation. The multi-year effort to change gun legislation does not have the support of law enforcement.
