Productivity is a constant area of focus for me. I’m always trying to maximize my efforts in the garden - streamline my time and feel a sense of accomplishment after working outside. Every gardener is wired a little differently: some people want to get up and garden first thing in the morning while others wait to tackle their garden work late in the day - others are weekend warriors. Whenever we talk about pursuing a hobby - or a passion like gardening - it’s important to remember that we aren’t doing it for a paycheck. We aren’t even doing it purely for happiness sake - sometimes we can actually feel pretty miserable after being in the garden. So what makes us continue to garden? And what makes certain that we don’t give up gardening? The answer is a universal truth for any hobby or activity - it’s being able to make consistent progress and feeling that our time in the garden is meaningful. The productivity tips I’m sharing with you today are designed to help you maximize your efforts and to squeeze every drop of productivity from your precious time in the garden. My hope is that by sharing these ten little changes to your gardening practice you will reevaluate your approach and experience greater personal productivity as a result. Gardener Productivity - that's the topic of today’s show and it’s coming up after an update on the Listener Community for the show and this week's Garden News Roundup.
