This week Ben, Jeff and Leo are still toking with bookmaker, paper designer and paleolithic pipe maker Terry Harlow. Terry completed his BA in Philosophy at the Norden Fjord World University in 1972, returning to Connecticut he worked providing photographic and archival support to area museums. From 1973-1977 Terry studied bookbinding and paper decoration with; Inez Pennybacker, David Bourbeau, Gary Frost at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.

He made them for workshops and students. Terry returned to school for a Computer Programming degree where he pioneered Speech driven computer technology until his retirement in 2011. Following retirement, he studied stone carving with Sandy Cline in Ontario, and opened Paleolithic Pipes in 2014 where he makes incredible hand made pipes. It's of interest to note that the Metropolitan Museum in NYC is mounting an exhibition on Book Artist Paper Decorators in January 2023 that includes the work of Terry and 10 of his students.
