Collector Courts Bitcoin Millionaires for Record-Setting Baseball Card Auction - Former NFL lineman Evan Mathis is auctioning his 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle baseball card, and he’s accepting bitcoin as payment. Heritage Auctions will be managing the sale and has estimated the card’s value at $3.5 million. Mathis has said his decision to accept bitcoin was to give a larger audience a chance to buy the card.
