G’day Gday you lovelies. Today’s episode topic is, Italian Fairy Tales! Yup! And I’ve got my Red Balloon, Rubeus tea, and am ready to share the tales! Our first story is Myrtle, where the gods take pity on a husband and wife, providing them with a child….completely of myrtle! A fairy child in fact, whose beauty attracts the love of a prince – beauty enough that he’d give his own eye for it.

And your second tale is The Perunoto, a story about magic, good deeds, and the true power that the fae can bestow on others. Both these tales are really different, and I like the pacing, and characters – particularly the dialogue between The Prince and the Myrtle child – a sort of poetic pining for these little fairy queen. Now mates, turn the lights off, the sound up, and let’s get cosy, with tales from Italia!
