For this seventh episode of Suffolk Confidential, David talks to the artistic director and chief executive of Eastern Angles, Ivan Cutting. Ivan is the founding father of the Ipswich based touring theatre company, which began life in 1982 as a small group of theatre enthusiasts who wanted to devise and write new plays with Suffolk themes and story-lines and take them out to small towns and villages across the county and beyond.

Ivan tells David about how he got started in the theatre and the many plays he has researched and directed over the years. The challenges of arts funding, modern theatre marketing and the mysterious Black Shuck story are all dissected and debated in an entertaining 60 minutes of conversation.
