The latest episode of The Sun Devil Source Report Podcast continues an offseason series that is a little different from our normal podcasts. We are providing our audience with a bit of a treat in the form interviews that Sun Devil Source publisher Chris Karpman conducted with Arizona State assistant coaches. The fourth episode of this series is from Karpman's recent conversation with ASU first-year wide receivers coach and assistant recruiting coordinator Prentice Gill. As you'll hear, Gill discusses how important it was for his position group to get seven practices in during spring ball before the coronavirus halted ASU’s spring program. Gill, who previously has worked at USC and most recently with Oregon, speaks to the talent in the receiver room and analyzes how ASU was able to recruit a record four four-star wide receivers according to the 247Sports Composite rankings: LV Bunkley Shelton, Elijhah Badger, Johnny Wilson and Chad Johnson Jr. The former Old Dominion wideout also gave his thoughts on inheriting such a young group of receivers after ASU lost seniors Brandon Aiyuk (drafted by the San Francisco 49ers at No. 25 overall and Kyle Williams (signed by Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent).
