RKO Radio Pictures released Tall in the Saddle to theaters on September 29, 1944. Edwin Marin directs the western which stars John Wayne, Ella Raines, and Ward Bond.

‘Tall in the Saddle’ Movie Summary

John Wayne portrays Rocklin, the new ranch hand in town. When he arrives he learns that his new boss was killed a few weeks before. Rocklin does not receive a warm welcome from the locals. He discovers a nefarious plan to jip the heir of the ranch of her inheritance and frame himself for murder. There are some horses, good old fashioned shoot outs, and a love triangle in this unpredictable western.
