We're all aware of the bubbles we live in to some extent, and how technologies like Facebook encourage us to stay within them, but unless you live off the grid—and clearly you don't—you're probably affected by your comfortable bubble more than you think. Everything you do, say, and buy creates a feedback loop you may think you've broken, but with the wrong goals in mind it's the bubble you're going to live in for the rest of your life and possibly never know it.

"In just a few short years, Steve Jenkins and Derek Walter, dads of Esther the Wonder Pig, have cemented a place for themselves among the world's most well-known and successful animal activists. With a focus on humour, and creating lasting connections between people and animals, their "Kindness Is Magic" approach to advocacy has caught the attention of well over one-million followers from all over the world. In 2014 Steve and Derek founded the Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary in Campbellville, Ontario, where they continue to rescue abandoned and abused farmed animals."
