Take another five-in the end zone with the entrepreneur

I’ve been an entrepreneur since 1998. It's time for me to put on my entrepreneur hat, and share some tips with you today. This week we are going to talk all about how to start a cleaning business.

In order to start a cleaning business, you need to locate where your customers are located. You also need to consider your favorite target. The location where you are going to serve your customers should be where business professionals live, this is my favorite target market. In order to target business professionals, you need to find out where business professionals live and work. You could be targeting single business professionals, or working couples. You could offer delivery services, after working hours pickup and delivery services((This really is helpful, most working professionals and anyone as a whole love when cleaning companies offer after hour services).

You could also offer sewing and steaming services. Trust me, when I tell you that many professionals enjoy these services because they don't have the time to take care of their clothes. Steaming is a great help when they are rushing back and forth between meetings and they need their suits to look and fresh.

That’s my tip for this week, how to start a cleaning service.

Take Another five-beat the bullies and scams

This weeks scam of the week is all about when the computer repair person comes calling at your door. They tell you that they can repair your hardware and your software have a very low and economical prices. They offer you 7 days a week, 24 hour support. They can even, come to your home. These people are usually independent entities, and they do not work for any company. They'll give you a bill of goods that will really convince you that they can provide you a lot of services at a very low cost. The offer you the moon and stars.

This most of the time is a scam. What can happen if you fall for the scam? Sooner or later you're system will be hacked, and even your home will be invaded. When these guys into your home, they're not just looking for your computer. They'll be looking around it everything you have in your home. Just ignore, ignored, ignored, ignored. Hang up your phone if you get a phone call, and if they come to your door and you happen to open your door, simply be polite and tell them thank you very much but I've got my own technicians. They will hack into your computer before you know it, and other things of coarse!

Right, let's go on to building awareness about bullying. If you'd like to learn more about my efforts to build awareness against bullying, check out the campaign against bullying here.

The question of the week is our blind people vulnerable to bullying? The answer to this question is a very loud yes! As a blind person myself, I have had the misfortune to hear several tales about how blind adults and kids have been bullied and continue to be bullied. In a recent article from the CNIB, this problem is acknowledged when they wrote about someone called Renée who was bullied because she was blind. But, what we have to recognize is that we should not be using this problem as a means to fund raise but rather use it as a acknowledgment that there is indeed a problem and find a way to combat it. Providing support groups for blind persons who have been and are victims of bullying is a terrific start. We need to build on this now though, and we need to build more public awareness by presenting seminars, presentations, and encouraging victims to speak out. Please, take heed of this. Believe it or not, our blind kids are some of the most vulnerable ones to bullying in and society and we need to do our part to protect them at all costs. This is my bullying awareness tip for this week, and I hope that you're listening and you'll be encouraged to combat bullying.
