Phil Shiner, the tank-chasing lawyer who was struck off for bringing false claims against British soldiers who fought in Iraq, has been declared bankrupt. Before you get out a tiny violin to mourn for him, remember this man ruined the lives of many innocent soldiers who fought for this country! Soldiers like Brian Wood, who had charges brought against him by Shiner. Jon spoke to Brian a few months ago, so Anthony and Sam brought it to you again so you can hear just what Shiner did to these brave soldiers! After that Anthony spoke to Colonel Richard Kemp, former commander of Britain's armed forces in Afghanistan. He told Anthony why he has no sympathy for Shiner, and why he wants to see criminal charges brought against him. In the light of Shiner's actions, and also the hell that Marine A has gone through, do our soldiers need more legal protection by the government and the military?
