We're back with the second installment in our summer 2024 series, and we're returning to another legacy franchise, but not one that we were expecting to return anytime soon. We're talking about Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the first follow up to the Matt Reeves/Rupert Wyatt trilogy of the 2010's that followed Andy Serkis' Caesar from infant to ape savior. Now, we've fast forwarded 300 years into the future as the Planet of the Apes is on the rise, with new factions emerging in the wake of Caesar, bringing with it new characters, new conflicts but continuing the age old morality tale of the Apes franchise.
