This One Is For Kobe Bryant. RIP. - Episode 36
Manage episode 251637755 series 2520069
This is an episode I thought I would never make. Kobe Bryant passed away at the age of 41. He was involved in a helicopter crash killing 8 others, including his daughter GiGi. It's a sad day in sports and in the world as a whole. I never had the privilege to watch Kobe play in the NBA. I really wasn't into basketball during that time. From friends, people on social media and just talking to anyone who enjoyed his career as a player or what he has done off the court, he was an inspiration to millions across the world. He meant the world to so many people including his family, friends, co-workers and more. This one will take a while for people to handle. That's ok. Mourning someone isn't about how fast you get over it or how you handle it. It's about handling the loss of someone you care about. Dealing with that day in and day out. To anyone who felt something for Kobe and his daughter and anyone connected to the others lost in the tragedy, I'm sorry. I can't imagine how you must be feeling. I wish my best and to say let your emotions live. Don't let anyone tell you how you should feel.
