Bill Williams grew up on Long Island and received an electrical engineering degree from New York University. In his early career he was a missile guidance engineer for General Electric at Lockheed in Sunnyvale California & Cape Canaveral and then worked for Martin Marietta in Orlando. In 1988 he started A Cut Above Video Productions, which provides production of advertising, web, instructional, informational, and marketing videos. About once a year the an entertainment video is produced. Numerous awards have been won for advertising and entertainment productions.

In 1998 Ted Thomas came to Bill to have some modifications made to an infomercial. That relationship evolved into one of Bill working closely with Ted to develop much of his video and audio training material. In 1999 Ted personally coached Bill and took him to a tax lien certificate auction. That gave him the confidence to bid at an auction on his own and the next day of that auction he was the winning bidder on a 16% tax lien certificate. Bill then also attended and bid at tax deed auctions. He also traveled with Ted to record many of his workshops, while continuing to go to tax deed and tax lien auctions. Having learned from Ted, his visiting professors, hundreds of hours of video recordings, and researching and bidding at auctions himself, Bill now works with Ted to instruct and coach others about this lucrative investment.

As a Florida business owner Bill has been involved in the Space Coast community with long term involvement as a board member with the American Advertising Federation – Space Coast, Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, an educationally focused non-profit: Founders Forum, International Television Association (now Media Communications Association – International), Florida Motion Picture & Television Association, Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival, and a member of Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida and Cape Canaveral Air Force Museum volunteers.

In his spare time Bill enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking and simply getting away from it all in quiet secluded places.

When not engaged in any of the above Bill has started an ex wife collection and drinks beer.
