In today’s episode we hear the story of Abraham being commanded by the Scriptural God to sacrifice Isaac. This is a very famous story from the Bible and is used by various different people to make various different assertions about God and the Bible, but today you will hear from us not an assertion, not simply another manipulation of the Biblical story, but an explanation of the Biblical story. We cannot use the Bible for anything- we can only listen to it and choose whether or not we will align our behavior with God’s will, as the Biblical character Abraham is commanded to in this chapter.
