Fishing experience

Mitch grew up catching all the freshwater species Kentucky has to offer (catfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, and bluegill). After moving to Florida, Mitch made the switch to saltwater fishing. Since then, he has caught most everything swimming inshore from spotted sea trout, snook and redfish (red drum), and also loves to offshore fish whenever he gets the chance. Mitch has even fished in IFA Redfish Tour events.

Location

This episode takes place in the Everglades backcountry in Florida.

Catch of the Day

This episode is about backcountry saltwater fishing for snook, spotted sea trout, redfish, black drum, bonefish, jack cravelle, and even a Goliath grouper. Plus, a surprise guest decides to crash the party.
