Welcome back to the TennisConnected Podcast for 2022.

In this week’s show, @ParsaSamii and @On_Mars return to preview the 2022 Australian Open from Melbourne.

While the world-wide pandemic continues to disrupt the planet, Tennis Australia has worked hard to ensure that the year’s first Major will in fact take place. While defending men’s champion Novak Djokovic may not be in attendance because of a visa dispute, the likes of Daniil Medvedev and Rafael Nadal will be looking forward to leading the men’s field.

On the women’s side, defending champ Naomi Osaka will be looking to capture her fifth career Major and offset the hopes of local star Ash Barty.

We also preview both the women’s and men’s draws and pick our dark-horse candidates for the event.

As always, you can alternatively listen and subscribe to the #1 tennis PodCast via iTunes and never miss another episode. It is very easy and completely free. Alternative download methods can also be found below.
