Recipe 1 – 30 Second Banana Bread (from TRTLMT)
Friends coming over and you want to serve something fresh and delicious? This will be ready in a jiffy! It also freezes well, and is nut-free, so great to make ahead and store in the freezer ready for lunchboxes. The quick and easy Thermomix banana bread recipe you need when you’re low on time and want something delicious.
Recipe 2 – Bec’s Fave Banana Bread (from The 4 Blades)
This Thermomix banana bread recipe was created for the launch of The 4 Blades Magazine, back in November 2014. It was a bit indulgent, creating a banana bread with all Bec’s favourite features, wasn’t it? Grain free, dairy free, sweet, with nuts and spices and a little on the oilier side. Delicious! We are sharing it with you now that we have re-released this first issue, The Tea Party Issue, with a bit of a facelift. If you own it, you are able to get the update for free. If you don’t, it’s on special for the month of May 2016 for only $4.99!
Recipe 3 – No Sugar Grain Free Banana Bread (from The 4 Blades)
We wanted to create a no sugar grain free banana bread for Polly to have as a snack. We came up with this. Spoiler alert: we LOVED it. Our protein loving carnivorous child decided to opt for something more along the lines of a lamb cutlet with vegetables. Aside from the bananas, there is no other sweetener in this Thermomix banana bread so it is a good one if you fancy something a little sweet when reducing your sugar intake.
Here are some cool tips from this podcast…
- Butterflies taste through their feet!
- As bananas ripen they turn from starch to sugar, which is why it’s great to use overripe bananas for banana breads.
- Do you have bananas that are at the end of their life? Peel and freeze in a ziplock bag. These over ripe bananas are perfectly sweet for baking.
