This week: I’m talking about giving myself a break – in all senses of the word.

I’ve given this week’s show over to a topic which many folks in the creative industries often shy away from. Certainly, you don’t tend to hear many professionals talking about it – which I think gives a false impression to anyone listening.

For a long time, I put far too much pressure on myself to push things forward in my business. This came at the cost of my creativity and with it grew a sense of guilt whenever I would step away from what others considered I should be doing. In other words, the less creative, day-to-day running of my business.

Even if you’re not a photographer, but perhaps someone who has constant inward battle with themselves when trying to strike a balance, I hope this helps.
