James Arnett's path to become a true-crime novelist is unusual. He's a Harvard graduate, corporate lawyer, one-time president of Molson Breweries, adviser to government, chair of the Toronto East General Hospital board, and now in his eighties, he's written "Bean Fate," a novel based on real people and events of the Prohibition-era Midwest.
