Fifteen years ago, communities in northern Ontario routinely contended with a shortage of doctors and had no medical school. That changed, with the creation of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Dr. Roger Strasser, the school's founding dean, is stepping down this summer and he talks to Steve Paikin about what it took to establish a school that's now world renowned in the field of rural and remote medicine.
