Today I’m covering a topic that is becoming a more mainstream topic but still has an element of taboo to it and that is cannabis usage - specifically in tandem with your health, fitness, and food freedom journey. Cannabis usage is now legal in a handful of states and decriminalized in others but still holds a lot of stigma. As a result, typically my clients and in general people I speak to aren’t as forthcoming in talking about their cannabis use the same way they might be when talking about their alcohol use, and this stigma can leave you with unanswered questions. If health and fitness professionals can talk about how to balance alcohol with macros and how to lose weight without giving up your glass of wine, then why can’t we treat cannabis use in a similar manner?

Look, everyone is going to have their vice. It may be alcohol or cannabis or a love of doughnuts. The same way you are taught to balance those vices in moderation can apply to cannabis so let’s talk about it!
