More often than not I work with the Type-A, overachieving type of person. Usually these individuals are highly motivated, they take direction well, they’re organized, and they have a passion for bettering themselves. While these are amazing traits to have of course, they can often be our downfall especially in regards to our health.

I am also that Type-A individual, and for a long time I was experiencing symptoms of dysfunction that I passed off as being "normal" and I pushed through. I see myself in so many of you - the people I work with, the people I coach in the gym, and the people I talk to daily. I love that you’re disciplined and motivated but I hate that you’re not recognizing when you’ve crossed the line into pushing yourself so hard that your health is actually being harmed by it. And I know that’s not your intention, so this episode is designed to help bring awareness to this pattern so you can begin to shift your mindset, habits, and behaviors to better care for yourself.

In today's episode, we explore when the Type A personality type can fall into bad health habits, how to shift how you view your health and fitness in a more positive way, and affirmations to help shift your mindset to create balance in your life.
