This is about the macro and the micro - as a person and as a coach.

We are not in control of what happens in our world, we are in control of our thoughts, actions, and how we are in the world.

Here in the U.S., we had a very crazy election time and things have changed - BIG TIME. Many people are scared, and for good reason. To me, this is an opportunity to step up, get involved, and ask better questions.

Now I’d like to shift gears, because as coaches, we are needed now more than ever.

I love a good challenge and have a feeling you do, too!

When starting to coach it’s really exciting and scary. You have an idea of who your ideal client is and you’re so ready to help them. What is a hidden block is that many of your clients never had a coach or someone to care and keep them accountable.

You may think there is something wrong about you or your coaching - HOLD ON! Before you try finding what’s ‘wrong’ with you, begin to look through a different lens…

What is their tendency - to avoid things or go head on?

Is there stuff around not finishing things?

When you do sessions, what do you notice comes up often?

What is powerful about the coaching relationship is that you cannot hide. As the coach you get to care more than they are afraid. You get to see patterns and call them on it by asking powerful questions.
