In 2 Samuel 5:17-25 it says in part, "Now when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. And David heard of it and went down to the stronghold. The Philistines also went and deployed themselves in the Valley of Rephaim. 19 So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand? This in indeed the Lord working it out! The enemy wnat to take you out, but David inquired of the Lord what to do and the Lord was there to help him. God is much more clever and powerful than the enemy, and sometimes He will do a "sneak attack." Pastor Brad continues speaking about the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2.
