VALENTE RODRIGUEZ, series regular on ABC's "George Lopez" and TV Land's "Happily Divorced," is our special guest this Sunday night! VALENTE was born in south Texas in 1964, the youngest of eight in a family of migrant farm workers. He put himself through college by doing children's theatre in south Texas. After graduating college in 1987, he went to Los Angeles to become an actor. His first acting job was in a feature film called "Salsa - The Motion Picture" in 1988. Since then, VALENTE has appeared in numerous film, TV and theatre productions. On the big screen, he was in "Blood In, Blood Out." "Mi Familia," "Rooster," "Erin Brokovitch," "Deep Blue Sea," "Volcano," "The Ugly Truth," "It's Complicated" and "McFarland, USA." On TV, he has appeared in "Golden Girls," "Mad About You," "X·Files" and "ER." He was a regular on the "George Lopez" show playing the part of Ernie, and a regular on "Happily Divorced" with Fran Drescher, playing the part of Cesar. VALENTE has performed on numerous stages in L.A. and throughout the United States. He is currently starring in the world premiere of "The Sweetheart Deal" which opens May 12 at The Los Angeles Theatre Center, presented by The Latino Theater Company in association with El Teatro Campesino. In the play, a woman finds her calling while volunteering for an underground political newspaper during the early years of the United Farm Workers movement.
