Joining us on the show this week is our Special Guest - National Security Expert and Pentagon Advisor, Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Robert "Bob" Maginnis! Colonel Maginnis graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, the Naval Postgraduate School, the Command & General Staff College, the Defense Language School and the Army War College's strategy course. He is an Airborne-Ranger infantry officer with service in four infantry divisions on three continents. Once retired from the U.S. Army he joined the Family Research Council where he rose to be the Vice President for Policy before returning to the Pentagon 16 years ago. He continues his association with FRC by serving as the Senior Fellow for National Security. He is the Vice President for his contracting firm with duties at the Pentagon where he supervises a team of national security experts and serves as a security cooperation expert for the Department of the Army as well as instructing a course at the Army War College. Colonel Maginnis has decades of media experience as a columnist, a Fox News military analyst and as an on-air commentator for multiple radio programs and networks. He is the author of nearly a thousand articles and five published books. His latest book was released in August 2018, Alliance of Evil: Russia, China, and the United States and a New Cold War. Also joining us on the show this week is our Special Guest - author, editor, and historian, Jeffrey B. Miller! Miller has been an author, editor, and historian for more than 40 years. His career includes starting six magazines, being editor-in-chief of five in-flight magazines, and director of communications for AAA Colorado. He is also the author of Behind the Lines (Milbrown Press, 2014), which detailed the chaotic beginnings of WWI Belgium food relief and was included in Kirkus Reviews' Best Books of 2014. Jeffrey's latest book WWI Crusaders - set for release 11/11/18 - the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I (and Veteran's Day) - describes the incredible heroism of the American-led Commission for Relief in Belgium. For nearly 10 million Belgians and Northern French facing imminent starvation behind German lines in World War I, the CRB was life-saving. With the indomitable help of young, idealistic Americans, the CRB was responsible for initiating, organizing, and supervising the largest food relief the world had ever seen. WWI Crusaders will be available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and wherever books are sold beginning November 11, 2018. Learn more about Miller's work at wwicrusaders.com.
