Manager at the World Famous "Shamrock Social Club" in West Hollywood, the son of an absolute legend and a member of the "Good Dad Gang". My guest on Episode 208 of The Brooklyn Blast Furnace Podcast is Cody Mac! This was long overdue. We go from listening to silly hair metal as kids to focusing on his upbringing as the son of Tim McCarthy, a legendary tour manager for huge stadium bands from the late sixties to the early 2000's. Cody grew up on tour with bands like "Fleetwood Mac", "The Doobie Brothers" and "Billy Joel". His godmother is Stevie Nicks. We go into how he became the manager at Shamrock and how he found himself in Bruce Willis and Johnny Depp's house on a house call. From arena rock bands to hip hop to the Doobie Brothers saving his life, Cody Mac has stories. This ruled. Enjoy.
