We are flipping the script on this episode of The Catwalk. On this episode, our favorite podcast host, Jay Whitlow, sits down for a deep conversation on his non-profit organization, view of ministry, the family business to now as a podcast host and much more.
Chris kicks off the conversation chatting about the Mighty Ducks Movie franchise and then sits in the host chair asking the hard questions. Dive into some mile marker moments in Jay's life, his take on charity work in Africa and his game changing advice to his younger self.
Jay is a missional entrepreneur and a people evangelist. He is a vocal supporter of adoption, an advocate for providing clean water access points, hockey franchise owner, educator, speaker and non-reader.
After working in multiple churches across Texas and assisting in growing the family business, Jay now finds his space in having conversations with people of influence in Midland and the Permian Basin.
Jay is from Mesquite, Texas and has been married to Gala for 33 years. About to enter the empty nest season of his life, Jay enjoys following the journey of his 3 adult children Carolyn, Reece and Krista. Most days now you will find Jay either napping, killing vegetables in the garden or eating nuggets at CFA.
