Manage episode 227933598 series 1278547
After a week’s optimism at The Den, a cup quarter-final home draw versus Brighton, three invaluable points won and Derby and just the single FA enquiry into crowd conduct, I suppose it was inevitable that the Lions would trip over flat on their collective faces at home to Preston. As this week’s guest Charlie Mahoney summed it up, it was all very Millwall ...
What must worry the club’s management surely was the tame way that we managed to make North End look like a Preston version of Barcelona in an awful first half. Only the introduction of Morison, Ferguson and Thompson as the second period wore along seeming to introduce any of the spirit that - beyond anything else - the Millwall support expects.
This week’s show includes the usual in-game stream of consciousness alongside Fan on the Board Micky Simpson, who was bizarrely being filmed by an art-house documentary crew. A half-time conversation with the movie producer Dorothy Pickard; and the usual post match views of Lucas and then Charlie.
A big thank you to everyone who has given us a 5 star review on Apple podcast and for the kind words too. It makes it all worthwhile and is much appreciated by me.
