Back in the 1930s, North Carolina's Duke University became home to the United States' first Department of Parapsychology. This group of scientists studied all sorts of paranormal phenomena, including Ghosts, Extra Sensory Perception and even demonic possession. They were, in many ways, the very real Ghostbusters.
