Tova Leigh is a social media influencer, writer, performer, wife and mother. What I like about Tova is her honest video rants and joie de vivre. Tova uses her platforms to support and empower women by giving them a sense of belonging as she doesn’t hold back whilst sharing the raw truth with her uncensored topics: motherhood, body issues, marriage, sexuality, relationships not forgetting chocolate, wine and of course cake! I actually was involved in project pilot for Tova a few years back in London with my own business The Drone Film Company. Tova has a few viral videos, one of which I adore: “Why mums never meet up”. Video link with 108 400 views: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwHZg1SbwSs If you are a parent, you will relate to her style, in fact after seeing a few videos, there’s plenty of stuff anybody can relate to. With her viral online series 'Mom life crisis', Tova went on a journey to rediscover life after motherhood. From doing a nude photo shoot, to bungee jumping, pole dancing, changing her appearance and even flying to Nepal to do the Everest base camp trek, Tova documented her journey. The series received an overwhelming response from thousands of women across the world. She is currently taking her raw humour on stage with her live show My Thoughts About Stuff and writing her new book. You can find out more on her website: https://tovaleigh.com I ask Tova the following questions: When did you start your career as a podcaster and youtuber, what age where you? Where do you get your ideas for your video? Do you do your editing or you leave it to your team? How difficult was it in the early days, what helped you carry on? Was there a moment where you though, why am I doing this? When did you start to generate money, how many years did it take? What advice would you give to people that want to do what you do? Do you have any morning routine? What do you do to relax? Thank you for listening, and have fun out there.
