Here is the part 2 conclusion of my thoughts on Eric Hoffer’s fantastic exploration of mass movements in his popular book The True Believer. This is a longer episode, but I wanted to wrap it up in a part 2. I know it has been a while since I have published a new episode, but I explain why in the episode, and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

This episode deals with the types of people drawn to mass movements and the unifying agents which help homogenize and motivate them. I use a lot of current examples to tie in Hoffer’s claims, and I weave in and out of current politics and mass movement generalizations. Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy it!
