Well, better late than never I suppose. That’s right, folks, while we may have missed our usual release date for our annual Best of the Year episode, we’re back and here to present a special Best Of/Oscars-esque hybrid, complete with all of the gaffes, screw ups, and just plain sloppiness that you’d expect from a movie awards show (minus announcing the wrong #1 film – we’re bad, but we’re not THAT bad).
So, with that in mind, let us begin with The Empire or Jedi Best of 2016 Train Wreck of Epic Proportions.
I’m your host and unprepared schmuck David Snider, and joining me again as we toast the best of what Hollywood had to offer us last year our fellow nerds and “just as confused looking as Winona Ryder looked at the Golden Globes” co-hosts, Jonathan Hinckley, Ryan Caldwell, Cody Eastlick and Chad Griner.
Topics of discussion in this episode include the last minute shuffling that occurred within this year’s Top Ten as a result of Chad’s late ballot entry; a controversial award bewilders and makes everyone feel uncomfortable; and finally, Cody calls for a vote of no confidence as my position as host is threatened due to a complete and utter lack of preparation and possible corruption. (Update: This claim was later dismissed as Fake News)
