Florence Schelling, longtime Swiss goaltender and four-time Olympian, was named the general manager of SC Bern in the Swiss Mens' National League, becoming the first woman to be named GM of a professional hockey team. Florence joins the podcast to discuss the process of landing the job and what prepared her for the role over a lifetime in hockey, including her time at Northeastern, playing with the Swiss national team at the age of 13, being named tournament MVP with the 2014 Olympic bronze medal-winning team in Sochi, and how recovering from a skiing accident led her to leave a job in business to pursue her goals in hockey.
