Many foreigners have a picture in their minds of what it will be like finding a job and working in Germany. For example, it seems that the perception is that there are many opportunities in Germany, that salaries are good, and that German companies are efficient. However, this is not necessarily the case.
Jana from Meetra joins me to discuss what foreigners can actually expect regarding jobs and the workplace. We also discuss typical German work contracts ("Arbeitsverträge"), the importance of reference letters, and the differences between corporates and startups.
