Hardcore Underground as a brand was born in 2006 when we released our first compilation CD in the UK & Ireland. Six further critically acclaimed albums have followed and have featured some of Hardcore's finest DJ's, showcasing exciting high quality music from new and established artists alike. In 2009 HU became a record label in its own right, with both the third and fourth album finding their way into stores on the new imprint. We also began releasing 12" and digital releases of some of our core artist's material. In 2010 this has continued with the emphasis shifting more towards working in the digital domain. Hardcore Underground has a policy of releasing high quality music irrespective of current popularity trends, so you will find that breakbeat and freeform based Hardcore is as much a part of the labels makeup as the more 'commercial' releases.
