Manage episode 299855162 series 2928914
Founded by US Special Forces Veteran Jim Kniestedt, The Kniestedt Foundation was created to provide outdoor experiences and improve quality of life for our service men and women. Joe Rhodes is the event planner for this great organization but is also a key piece to the ongoing relationships that come out of the trips they put on each year. In this episode, he dives into the history of the foundation as well as sharing the impact and success stories that he is blessed to witness each season. Joe also talks about his recent trip down the Missouri River to raise money for Veterans on the MR340, a 340 mile endurance raise that was truly life changing for him and those he travelled with. We also talk of our shared passion for working with those who serve and have served our country and what others can do to get involved with our cause.
