FSBO Sign

There’s NO Reason to Be Afraid of FSBOs

Scene #1: You’re driving home after a difficult day at the Real Estate Office and as you turn onto the street that leads into your subdivision and then you see it; a freshly planted “For Sale by Owner” sign prominently placed for everyone to see. You quickly jot down the street address and the phone number off the sign and figure you’ll do something with the information later. By the time you pull into your own driveway, which is just a block away from that FSBO, you’re already feeling aggravated because you’re really not sure what the best way is to approach them.

Scene #2: It’s been well over a week now and you feel a lump in your throat every time you drive past that For Sale by Owner at the entrance to your subdivision. You meant to call them but didn’t; you meant to drop in on them but didn’t; you meant to do something, anything, and yet you didn’t. So you decide enough is enough, today is the day, and so you finally build up enough courage to stop by and just knock on their door. You stop your car in front of the For Sale by Owner, you turn off your car’s engine, you get out of your car and walk up to the front door and right before you knock on the door you feel a sharp pain in your chest. It’s getting harder to catch your breathe and you start feeling like you’re on the verge of passing out. Your only thought at this moment is “There’s got to be an Easier Way to Earn a Living!!”.

During this episode of the “HOW TO SELL MORE HOUSES” Audio Podcast I’ll hopefully help you to understand clearly that there’s no reason to be afraid of For Sale by Owners. I hope you enjoy the episode and thanks for taking the time to listen. Happy Learning, Scot
