With teams from two sports embarking on a journey to be champions, you're sure to get tons of asinine drama. Well both the NBA playoffs and the Stanley Cup playoffs are providing tons to keep Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo busy. Before we get to the postseason action, there's some drama stemming from a team already in the midst of their offseason. Scott Brooks has been fired by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Mike and George argue about the future of the Thunder franchise. Mike feels this organization is headed for disaster and isn't even an attractive job anymore. George is keeping the faith. Does this impact the futures of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in OKC? Also, all signs point to Rajon Rondo and the Mavericks parting ways. Why did it get this bad? Can his antics actually be defended? Either way, it's surely fun and entertaining to watch Rondo act a fool. Is the NBA's Eastern Conference Cleveland's to lose? Are the no star team ball concept Hawks the Cavs toughest test? What about the Wizards? How many teams are true contenders out west? Despite such a great season, will a lack of size eventually be the downfall of Golden State? Do the Clippers have what it takes for a deep playoff run? Has Houston found their best gameplan to win? The Western Conference is wide open in the NBA, but is it down to only a couple of real threats in the NHL? Does any other west team have a shot at stopping a collision course of Anaheim and Chicago for a chance at the cup? Pavel Datsyuk is the Red Wings savior and the Caps are a bit different this year. Oh and, the Penguins problems go well beyond their play on the ice. It's the Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show, conquering sports radio, one day, at a time....
