It's not often the masters in all that is asinine are surprised by any bizarre sports news. Well Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo were SHELL SHOCKED recently. FIFA President Sepp Blatter resigned! While this is obviously the right move, it's incredibly shocking, since his decision came only four days after winning yet another election. What triggered Sepp Blatter to resign? Was there a secret backdoor deal we don't know about? Did the FBI have more evidence? What will be the post Blatter future of FIFA, the World Cup, and soccer (or futbol) in general? In the midst of off the field drama, the NBA and NHL are in the midst of crowning champions. Golden State didn't have an answer for LeBron in game one. It didn't matter. How disheartening is it for Cleveland to lose, despite such a great effort from LBJ? Does Kyrie Irvings' injury further add to the Cleveland curse? The Blackhawks were able to win, even without their top guns scoring in game one. What does Tampa Bay need to happen to have a chance? If Chicago lifts Lord Stanley's Cup for the third time in six years, is it a dynasty? Is this Blaclhawks dynasty actually more impressive than the Detroit Red Wings run from 1997 to 2002? We open with asininity, we close with asininity. Adrian Peterson is back with the Vikings. What led him to return to the franchise he once said didn't support him?
