All throughout the week we’ve been bombarded by smugness and condescension from some of the wealthiest elites in the world; starting at the WEC in Davos, where billionaires laughed at the idea of a 70% marginal tax rate. To top things off, former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz floated the idea of a “centrist independent” presidential run in 2020; and on top of that, him and his friend (another billionaire) Michael Bloomberg teamed up to tell the peasants we can’t have Medicare for All. It’s time we eat the rich.
