On today’s podcast, I am joined by the founders of East Meets Dress, Vivian Chan and Jennifer Qiao. East Meets Dress is a very interesting company. They are dedicated to bringing more transparency, quality and customization to cheongsam dress shopping.

A bit of a backstory of the company, while planning her wedding, Jenn struggled to find cheongsam outfits and tea ceremony supplies that were designed with the modern Chinese American woman in mind. The choices seemed to be dealing with sketchy sellers on Alibaba or impatient grannies in Chinatown. She found it hard to celebrate her Asian roots without compromising quality and style. That’s when she decided to start East Meets Dress with her best friend Vivian.

Hustlers nation, it’s an interesting one so stay tuned to the end of the episode to find out more about Jenn, Vivian and East Meets Dress.
