Dr. Georgia Ede is a psychiatrist who has experience, first hand, the benefits of keto on mental health. Her interest in nutrition really took off after she managed to reverse a number of health problems, including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, and IBS. After she started feeling healthy, she set out on a quest understand why keto restored my own health, and why keto is so different from the diet we are taught is healthy.

After some research and study, she developed a passion about the connection between food and every aspect of physical and mental health. Before long, she realized that the vast majority of medical literature misses the fundamental aspects of how keto is beneficial.

She also developed a strong interest in understanding how the foods we eat affect our bodies, especially our brains.

Her Psychology Today article Ketogenic Diets for Psychiatric Disorders: A New 2017 Review is a clear, concise explanation of a recent meta study that looked at the link between keto and psychiatric disorders, and it is an absolute MUST READ.

And now, she’s a crusader who advocates nutrition, especially keto, as a fundamental tenant of good mental health. She’s written several other articles for Psychology Today including Preventing Alzheimer’s Is Easier Than You Think and Stabilize Your Mood With Food, and continues to lead the charge for better mental health through nutrition.

You can find out more about Dr. Ede on her website (Diagnosis Diet). And I highly recommend it. Dr. Ede is fantastic, smart, and was an absolute BLAST to talk to. I know you’re going to love listening.
