Growing up in New York, Jonny Bowden loved to play music. After finishing his degree, he decided to live the rock star life for a while, including everything that went along with that. But, after years of unhealthy living and damaging his body, he thought there might be a better way.

The nature of his work put him around a lot of fitness folks, bodybuilders and the like. So, when Johnny decided to do something healthy, he asked them what he should do. They suggested he lift weights. So he did…and he just so happened to be blessed with the genetics to make very fast gains in a short time.

And he was hooked. He went from being an overeducated musician to being an overeducated fitness trainer, including six nationally recognized certificates and a Ph.D. in Nutrition.

But when he started to notice that none of the nutritional information he was giving out to his clients was working, he started to question the information.

That led him to the low-carb and ketogenic life. He saw incredible results in his clients and in his own health. And he hasn’t looked back.

Jonny is a force of nature and is intensely charismatic. I really liked chatting with him…although I didn’t get to discuss a MAJOR topic with him, so I’m going to have to have him back on the show soon.

If you want to learn more about Jonny and his work, you can check out his website (http://jonnybowden.com/).

It was a lot of fun talking to him and you’re gonna love listening.
